Gisela Butera

Biomedical Librarian

Gisela Butera  joined the NIH Library in December 2020. She holds a Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Arts in Education from The George Washington University. 

Prior to joining the NIH, she worked for Panum Group|USDA as a Systematic Review Librarian for the, Nutrition Evidence Systematic Review (NESR) team. Before joining the USDA she worked as a Reference and Instructional Librarian at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Himmelfarb Health Science Library, The George Washington University.
