Join us for the first of a series of Roundtable Discussions being presented by the NIH Library, featuring experts talking about current technology topics. Our inaugural Roundtable Discussion tackles generative modeling, an artificial intelligence (AI) technique that creates unique content such as text, graphics, audio, and video by analyzing training examples. Generative AI tools include ChatGPT, which generates text in a dialogue format, and DALL·E 2, which can create images based on natural language description. Generative AI is a rapidly expanding field that offers many possible applications for biomedical researchers and support staff.
During this ninety-minute webinar, experts will discuss possible applications of generative AI within scientific research and publishing, and potential ethical concerns and issues.
