Enhance Your Clinical Decision Making with the Sanford Guide

The NIH Library is pleased to introduce Sanford Guide, an evidence-based clinical reference tool that provides up-to-date information, guidelines, and recommendations on the selection, dosing, and administration of antibiotics and antifungal medications. The user-friendly interface ensures easy navigation, while its mobile accessibility provides access to vital information anywhere, anytime—in the clinic, lab, or on the move.

Use Sanford Guide to discover up-to-date information on antimicrobial therapies, including drug dosages, indications, and adverse effects. This comprehensive resource can help you make informed decisions about the appropriate use of antibiotics, leading to more effective treatment outcomes for patients at the point of care while minimizing the risk of antibiotic resistance and adverse effects.

The Sanford Guide web version is available to NIH staff through the NIH network/VPN. To access the Sanford Guide app, you must first create an account. Once you have an account, use the web edition on your computer or download the app to your mobile device and take the Sanford Guide on the go with you.
