Reserve a Workspace

Reserve a workspace to collaborate on a project or explore a variety of licensed and open-source software for 3D printing and modeling, bioinformatics, data visualization, online mapping and spatial data, video production and editing, and web and graphic design. The workspaces are open to NIH staff and are available during library business hours.

Reservations are required for use:

Bioinformatics and Data Sciences workspaces can be reserved for up to four hours per day.

3D Printing & Modeling

NIH staff can now print and scan in 3D for free (see equipment and tools below), receive training on 3D printing and modeling, and explore 3D printing and modeling software (see list above under).

Your models MUST be NIH research- or work-related.

Data Visualization

Data visualization refers to the creation and analysis of visual representations of data, such as network visualizations, graphs, diagrams, models, and images. Data visualization tools allow users to clearly communicate their research results, as well as to visually represent data in new ways that allow for enhanced understanding and discovery.
