Kenisha first joined the National Institutes of Health Library as a Library Technican. After working in the Document Delivery, Interlibrary Loan Department for only one year, Kenisha advanced to her current position in the Library's Business Office as a Purchasing Agent.

As a Purchasing Agent, Kenisha oversees the procurement mechanisms of the Business Office; manages the small purchases, credit card, BPA's, and purchase orders; and oversees credit card audits, logs, and approvals. Kenisha has also overseen for three years, the Library's Interagency Agreements on NIH, HHS, and Consortium reimbursements, and it's collections and direct citation to transfer funds to another organization. Some of her other responsibilities are timekeeping, travel, and training registrar.
