PDAs: Basic and Clinical Applications

Description:

PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants) are small handheld computers that typically provide applications such as a calendar, contacts, or notepad. Other applications such as a web browser or media player may also be used by a PDA. Small keyboards and pen-based (stylus) systems are the most common forms of user input. The NIH community uses several different types of PDAs. They include Palm OS Devices such as the Palm Tungsten C, iPAQ Pocket PCs, and RIM Blackberry Devices. In this class you will learn the basics of using and maintaining your PDA and some of the advanced applications which are available to NIH staff. Instructor will be using a Palm Tungsten C handheld for demonstration in this class.
