A search on infectious diseases retrieves:

The article is in English, has no cited references, and has been cited one time.

 A search for schizophrenia or dementia praecox retrieves:

The article is in German, has 63 cited references, and has been cited 25 times.

How do I access Science Citation Index Expanded and search for article citations from the early 1900s?

1. Go to the NIH Library webpage and select "Web of Science" under "Quick Links" on the left side of the page.
2. Click on "Web of Science" under "Searchable Database Products."
3. Under “Select database(s) and timespan:,” set the date. Type a search in the search box.

1. Click on the “NIH Library Full-Text Plus!” button.
2. Select the best option. If an article is not available online, you may request a copy through Document Delivery.

I found a great article but it is available in a language I do not read. What can I do?

1. Go to the NIH Library Translations webpage.
2. Review the services and call 301-496-2257 for additional information.
