What is Second Life?

Second Life (SL) is a 3-dimensional virtual world that is run by Linden Labs. SL is a type of Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) in which users can interact with each other and the environment through the use of avatars. SL creates an environment that offers users the potential for online meeting, collaboration, sharing.
