New Scientific and Medical Sites - August 2007

Genetics
iHOP (Information Hyperlinked Over Proteins)
Non-Federal Website: A network of concurring genes and proteins extends through the scientific literature touching on phenotypes, pathologies and gene function. iHOP provides this network as a natural way of accessing millions of PubMed abstracts. By using genes and proteins as hyperlinks between sentences and abstracts, the information in PubMed can be converted into one navigable resource.

Library and Information Sciences
ReleMed
Non-Federal Website: ReleMed retrieves almost the same articles as PubMed, but ReleMed shows the articles in a different order--the first articles returned in response to a query have close relationships between the search terms.

Public Health
International Clinical Trials Registry Platform Search Portal
Non-Federal Website: Trial registration data sets provided by Primary Registers (Clinicaltrials.gov, Australian Clinical Trials Registry, and International Standard Randomised Controlled Trial Number Register (ISRCTN)).

To view the complete list of resources alphabetically by title, go to Research Tools > Internet Resources. You may also search by subject.
