Weather Conditions
A new weather station is monitoring the current weather on the green terrace. The station sends data about the temperature, humidity, rainfall, etc. to the website every 10 minutes. After sending the data to the website, it archives the information.
Cistern Levels
In addition to the atmospheric conditions, the current weather page has information about the water level in the cistern. The cistern stores rainfall from the nearby roofs. This keeps rain water from going into the storm water sewage system as well as supplies the water for the irrigation system and the fountain on the terrace.
Weather Buffs
You can watch the weather conditions and cistern levels on website. If the conditions suit your comfort level, come to the terrace to read, study, collaborate, or renew.
Future Plans
The Library plans on adding more data elements to the website such as the energy level from the solar panels and the moisture level of the engineered soil on the terrace. This and other data will be stored for trends, analysis, and research purposes.
